Welcome to the Class of 2014! You're future at Aquinas High School begins today. We invite you to explore our website to see what we have to offer you. We pray that your decision will be to choose Aquinas in preparation for your life's journey. The first step in the process is to complete the application and to sign up for our freshmen placement exam. Aquinas uses the High School Placement Test (HSPT) published by the Scholastic Testing Service. This purpose of this test is to help us in the assessment process and to accurately place you in the correct courses in your freshmen year. There are test preparation materials both online and in your local bookstores. However, the best way to prepare for any standardized test it get rest the day before the exam and to work hard at your current school. Online information on test preparation can be found here. Our next testing date is March 27, 2010. An application can be downloaded below. The second step in the process is to make sure that you submit to your current school the recommendation forms. These are also important in the admissions process since they also help to determine your placement in courses. Finally, it is important that you continue to do well in your current course of studies. We will be requesting your final grades from your 8th grade year to complete your application. If you need financial aid, the process can be located on the financial aid page. Please review the information carefully with regards to the levels of aid that Aquinas can offer to you and your family. Financial aid for the 2010-2011 school year will be done online only. If you have questions regarding the online process, please contact the school. The link for FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment can be found here or on the Financial Aid page. Please do not hestitate to contact the school if you have any questions regarding the application process. May God bless you in your decision.
