President's Message August 2010

Alumni and Friends of Aquinas,

My name is Jim Brennan and I have recently been appointed the President of Aquinas High School. This past spring was a challenging time for Aquinas. We faced some very serious financial situations. However, with some administrative reorganization and modification of plans we have begun to reverse the trend. We believe the experience has made us stronger than we once were! We have a clearer picture of our finances now. Our operational budget is looking better and we are making long term plans for the future.

The Aquinas experience has been a very positive one for students over the years. We are very proud of the achievements and accomplishments of our students and alumni. We are working diligently to see that our current students have comparable or even better experiences to prepare them for college and the world of work. Staying connected with our graduates and friends is key to our future success.

We would love to keep you informed about the many activities that are happening this coming year, as well as the successes of our students. We will be sending out periodic newsletters and invitations to events. We want to keep you informed of what’s happening, whether it is an Aquinas event or an alumni reunion.

Current students and families please know that our door is always open to you. I hope to have an opportunity to meet you as you register for classes. I am looking forward to the campus soon being filled with our most precious gift, the students.
